Overview
I am a drummer based in the South East of England with a long history of gigging and touring worldwide with rock, alternative and punk bands. I am a solid player that focusses on creative rhythms, feel and timing over flashy drum solos, and pride myself on my organisation and professionalism in all situations. Having toured with lots of different characters and personalities, I totally understand the need to get along with people and I always work hard to make every gig, rehearsal or tour relaxed and enjoyable.
I also have a keen interest in military history and in my spare time I am a Captain in the Army Cadet Force, currently working to set up and establish a Military Corps of Drums in Kent. This is where the Dave 'Nato' comes from!
Touring
I have played thousands of shows in the UK and Europe and have also completed several tours of the US and Australia, with one off shows in paces as far away as Brazil and Columbia. Festivals played include Download, Sonisphere and Rebellion in the UK, Punk Rock Bowling in the US and Exit festival in Serbia.
Bands
At the age of 8, I was playing in a youth marching band, playing parades and shows all over the SouthEast of England and London. In my teens I played in local rock bands playing parties and pubs all over the place. In my twenties I decided to play drums professionally and have done so ever since.
